SWEATY DAY

Today(02.11.06) was a sweaty day for me. I have sweat 3 times in 3 occasions, that means I used up a lot of clothes today. hahaha.

1st was the Church Gotong Royong. Every year we have this Church cleaning in December before Christmas to make the Church clean and presentable. I think I have not missed this event since I came back from studies. How bout you guys? Must love your Church oh, cleaning the Church is part of it. Today everybody work together. Each have their own tasks, nobody complains, just obey and work(I hope).

I think every year I sure polish the brass metal CROSSES, which 1 is near the piano, and the 2 identical are the ones near the sound room. I thought I won't do it this time, but in the end have to do, tangan gatal i think. It was a dirty job, made my whole palm and fingers covered in fungus, blackness, after-polish substance. It was smelly too, took whole day to actually make the smell go away.

Me, Ding and Leon polishing the drum cymbals, it was super hard and dirty! Needed 3 persons to actually make cleaning process fast, or else will take the whole day.


Phew, nothing beats the cold sweet drinks after hard work.



Played TRUMP with the youths after all the cleaning. (don't worry, no cash involve)


Finally, free lunch as a reward for our hard work. Everybody deserved it.

The 2nd SWEAT occasion is playing with JOY! If you know Joy, we 1st met her at Church with her mom, they are sort of stray dogs. (don't know how they ended up in Church in the 1st place). The good hearted couples (Caressa and Alfie) offered to take in Joy to their lives and joy is staying with them. But today (till this Monday) Joy is staying at my place as the couple went off to KK for the weekend to do some stuff. Look how big she have grown!! So that evening about 5pm I spend time with Joy, brought her for a short stroll, and then played with her using my two hands to wrestle her. I thought I can make her tired so that she won't bark too much to get attention later. Instead I'm the one being tired and sweaty after 1 hour with her. She is really energetic and playful. Bit my have few time(friendly bite) and have bit or marks around.


the 3rd occasion, was playing my favourite sport, yeah....BADMINTON!!! Wilbur called me up at 6.25pm to invite me to play with him and his colleagues at the Basel Church Hall. I without hesitation agreed and rushed off to play!! It's the 1st time I played badminton in Basel Church Hall. It has only one court (from the pic). It was ok, played 6 games, tired and SWEATY. hahaha.

After that, went home, clean myself up, and go off for dinner with my buddy, CYNTHIA! Been a while since I keep in touch with her. It was a good dinner, glad to have her as my buddy!! And I thank the Lord for the fruitful day!
